laipaz Coffe CGI Video
Project Overview
This CGI project was created for Laipaz Coffee to showcase the progress of their new branch, which was still under final construction.
The client wanted to give their audience an exclusive early look, emphasizing that the grand opening was just around the corner.
The main concept involved a building fully covered with branded fabric, which would be lifted dramatically by a Saudi-themed helicopter, revealing the new café underneath.
Despite challenges with the quality of the footage provided by the client, we did our best to deliver a visually appealing experience that respected the creative vision of the project.
Project Execution
We started by providing the client with a professional filming script to guide the visual flow of the project. However, the delivered footage didn’t meet expectations, so we enhanced the base scene and digitally reconstructed the environment to move forward effectively.
Accurate camera tracking was performed, followed by 3D remodeling of the building, which allowed us to simulate the cloth cover with attention to realistic behavior, folds, and dynamic motion.
To maintain realism, we applied rotoscoping techniques to isolate the people from the original footage, then placed them above the simulated cloth layer. After the cloth simulation was completed and integrated, we remerged the characters seamlessly to preserve depth and interaction within the final scene.
The project was executed using Blender, After Effects, and Nuke, combining dynamic simulations, animation, and visual effects into a cohesive cinematic result.
Despite production limitations, we delivered a visually engaging animation that balances both creative storytelling and technical precision.
