Project Overview
This CGI video was created for Wakka, a take-away coffee startup brand based in Saudi Arabia.
The client aimed to produce a visually striking video to capture attention on social media and attract new followers.
While the project execution went smoothly on our end, the filmed footage provided by the client fell short of expectations.
Although we offered guidance on how to shoot the scene properly, budget constraints limited the client’s ability to re-film or allow us to handle the shooting ourselves.
Still, we decided to showcase this project due to the creative and technical challenges we faced—from working with imperfect footage to delivering a high-end animation experience within tight time and budget.
Project Execution
Our team integrated a 3D coffee machine atop a high-rise building and animated it with smooth mechanical motion. A realistic coffee cup was added, and a car animation was synced to move believably in the scene.
The most critical element was the fluid simulation—we focused on making the liquid motion look as realistic and dynamic as possible, even under the pressure of tight deadlines and limited budget.
Despite these constraints, we managed to deliver a polished animation with detailed VFX, from splashing coffee to dynamic interactions between elements.
This project stands as a great example of turning limitations into an opportunity to push our creativity and technical execution to the max.
